We are excited to announce our next big update, coming early august: The Thunder Peaks
The new campaign will feature 20 levels in a brand new mountainous environment. And that’s not all! Expect a new hero with unique abilities, traps, enemies and rewards. So let's get to the bottom of it!
Far from sunny shores, you are now at the top of rocky mountains. Perched high up on vertiginous cliffs, your Sanctuaries face the onslaught of the conquistadors, who find innovative ways to climb these reputedly unattainable peaks.
To achieve their nefarious goals, the conquistadors welcome two new recruits.
You'll need to be extra vigilant to counter the climber, a highly agile character who can appear where you least expect it.
The fanatic is a loyal soldier with unshakeable determination that will run ever faster as death approaches.
The conquistadors won't be the only ones to receive reinforcements. Two new traps have been designed by your craftsmen.
The lightning conductor is a wall trap that transforms lightning into an increasingly powerful electric arc. The overloader, built on the floor, generates a discharge that strikes down nearby enemies.
A new hero also joins the fray, Tonauac, the thunderous hermit. Disturbed in his mountaintop retreat by hordes of conquistadors, he decides to use his lightning mastery to fend them off.
In addition to his electric staff, Tonauac can enhance his base attacks and deal area damage, hurl a lightning bolt or even transform into a ball of pure energy.
We are constantly improving the game, thanks to your feedback. To complement this new campaign, we've revised several systems and added new rewards.
First of all, you now have 12 runes with unique effects to choose from instead of the mere 5 you had previously. They are divided into 3 categories: offensive, defensive and support. Each hero can equip up to 2 runes from each category, allowing for some unique combinations! To take advantage of these major changes don't forget to take a look at the training ground before fighting. Your heroes will be stronger than ever!
With the new campaign comes new rewards in the Hall of Envoys. Outfits for Yaotl and Tonauac, new runes, shield emblems and ornaments, strategic table (yes, you can now personalize the strategic table) and also new villagers!
