Despite all odds, the first realisation of Spooky Games will not be the long-awaited Sacrifices but a game set in a totally different tone: Condor.
In Condor, you will fall over and over along an endless cliff. With style. Oh yeah, a reckless style.
Why?
As a simple way towards cheap thrills and quick achievements, and in order to follow the glorious path of our illustrious fellow game developers, a reflection started on what could be a very Spooky take on the then-unavoidable Flappy Bird.
How?
What’s the twist then? What’s the Spooky take?
Well, at first, a 90° rotation transforming the boring travel of an atrophied birdish, err, thingy into the brilliant dive of a valiant loincloth-wearing warrior.
Furthermore, delightful deaths, visual- and sound-effects highlighting the beauty of it all.
At last, some actual scoring. Don’t let your unsung hero crash in vain and write his name on the eternal tablets of clay of Google Play Games leaderboards.
What now?
Condor is currently in beta on Google Play, but not for long! The game should be properly released by the 8th of April under the following policy:
- A free, ad-supported version
- A cheap (actually as cheap as could be on Google Play) ad-free version that will also contain a local scoreboard
Please note that Google Play Games leaderboards will exist in both versions and be common between these, so that all players will stand equal against the Gods of Scoring.
Happy falling!
